  • Winter (Nov–Feb): 10–25°C. Best time! Pleasant everywhere except extreme north (cold). Festival season.
  • Summer (Mar–May): 30–45°C+. Very hot! Hill stations (Shimla, Ooty, Darjeeling) are refuges. Avoid plains.
  • Monsoon (Jun–Sep): 25–35°C. Heavy rains! Southwest monsoon. Green everywhere. Flooding in some areas. Kerala, Goa beautiful.
  • Post-Monsoon (Oct–Nov): 20–30°C. Retreating monsoon. Great weather. Diwali falls here.
